Ways to Help

While there is a need for full-time foster families, there are many other ways to get involved to help our community's children and other foster parents.

Here are some ideas that we've thought of - perhaps you have another way to help? We would love to hear from you!

Send an e-card.




  1. Provide relief (part-time fostering) or baby-sitting services for foster parents
  2. Help us spread the word about fostering
  3. Add one of the following messages to your email signatures:
    "Make a difference to a foster child. Learn more at www.FosterTheFuture.ca"
    "I believe in a bright future for our foster kids. Do you? www.FosterTheFuture.ca"
  4. Include a small article about fostering in your company, school, community or church newsletter
  5. Place a link to www.FostertheFuture.ca from your website, facebook/myspace account
  6. Hang up a poster at work/school/church
  7. Volunteer at a foster booth at a community event
